Alki. Nightfall. Quiet. Fresh.

Time for a night time run.. At least the weather is getting better for it. It wasnt too cold, but I still had a hoodie on for the duration of the run. Simple route this time. Just gotta keep active and with the activity its getting easier. The busier I am, the better I feel.. I almost feel invincible. I remember a friend of mine sharing a picture that was just a small list of work out moves to do.. I’ve decided to start that every day and add a squat challenge to it as well. We’ll see how that all goes. I’m still debating on if I want to post before and after pictures.. I’ll have to think about that for now.


I did the workout routine when I woke up this morning and I was AMPED for the rest of the day. I didn’t feel tired or lazy after work.. I did my workout, went to work, went to UW and studied a little SQL, then took care of some financial responsibilities for PNI, went to the south end to check on the house.. then to Alki and STILL did my run even if it was late. I feel like I earned my dinner and my sleep.. On a random side note.. does anyone know what sumo squats are? LOL! I just improvised and did what I thought it was (lower version of a squat). Such a funny name.. I couldn’t stop giggling when I was doing it.. I was expecting to accidentally fart or something. O_O

Good run! Lots of fun and i swear that course is hard.. though I am not a seasoned runner by any means. At any rate, I finished and thats all that matters. 🙂 It was dry at first, and I thought we wouldn’t get any rain at all.. Alas, the weather gods were not as nice.. It started raining just as we started and towards the end. bah. Got some good gear the day before AAAAAAND, this years shirts were pretty dope!

Freaking mercer island is a damn hilly place! Well, at least where I was running.. I got on some main road and ran all the way down but as I got back into the neighborhoods from the city center.. man OH MAN was it a haul.. hills, Hills, HILLS! Blech! Anyway it was good.. at least I got some activity in.. thats all that matters.. 🙂 On my run, I spotted a house for sale that looked really nice. Too bad it didnt have the paper with the specs/price of the house.. would be interesting to see. It looked really nice, but I can only imagine how much the houses are considering its Mercer Island.. I am betting its near the $800k mark..
